The Foundation for TJO Animals has named Janna Brown as its new executive director.

Paws of Gratitude event showcases donors high-level support for the Foundation for TJO Animals, and the animals in need at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.

With perfect weather for the day, more than 180 motorcycle enthusiasts participated in the signature event for the Foundation, enjoying a scenic ride through western Mass culminating with an after-party celebration at the Ludlow Elks. With record attendance this year, the Foundation raised over $14,000 in support of their mission. Riders and party goers enjoyed live music, a BBQ lunch, raffles, games, and vendors.

The Foundation for TJO Animals participated in Giving Tuesday this year with a hefty goal to raise $25,000 for the purchase of a special therapeutic laser for the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center vet clinic.

In conjunction with Giving Tuesday, the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center will celebrate the addition of a state-of-the-art x-ray machine and specially-designed room at a dedication ceremony on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Amidst their busy schedules and success this season, the Springfield Thunderbirds made time to help animals in need with an event to support the Foundation for TJO Animals.
