Foundation for TJO Animals Holds Paws of Gratitude Donor Appreciation Event at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center

SPRINGFIELD, MA – Paws of Gratitude event showcases donors high-level support for the Foundation for TJO Animals, and the animals in need at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.

The Foundation for TJO Animals honored some of their biggest donors by unveiling a “Paws of Gratitude” donor wall of appreciation at the TJO Adoption Center on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Invited guests attended a reception that highlighted the lives changed because of their generosity. The Foundation and TJO Adoption Center also shared their future goals and commitment to helping the animals in need in the community.

The event began with a brief presentation from the executive directors of the Foundation and Adoption Center, followed by the opportunity for guests to join the adoption center staff for a tour of the facility with a unique look into the day-to-day operations at the shelter.

Foundation for TJO ambassadors Jonathan Hall & Amy Waterman (Toto the Tornado Kitten) said “We are honored to be added to Foundation for TJO Animals Paws of Gratitude wall and getting a backstage tour of the wonderful place TJO is. An amazing organization doing all they can for the welfare of the Greater Springfield area. Toto will always be giving back.”.

Founded in 2007, the Foundation for TJO Animals is dedicated to raising much needed funds to help local, homeless animals at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, serving the cities of Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee, Massachusetts. With a focus on providing financial assistance and grants for veterinary care, the Foundation has had a direct impact on saving lives of animals in the shelter.
