The Foundation for TJO Animals extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make the 4th Annual Jack Rome Memorial 5K& Fun Walk a record‑breaking success. We truly could not have done it without the incredible support of our community… rain and all.
This year, 373 registered participants, along with their families and pets, came together to honor the animals who have changed their lives for the better. Guests enjoyed music, raffles, vendors, food trucks,inflatable games, and superhero‑themed activities. We are thrilled to share that we surpassed our event goal and raised over $58,000 for the animals at TJO.
We have so many people to thank. Our deepest appreciation goes to Gary Rome Hyundai and Western Mass News, our Platinum Sponsors; to the Richard & Barbara Whitcomb Foundation for their generous “Best in Show” contribution; and to Integrity Veterinary Center and Alekman DiTusa for their support. Thank you to Sheriff NickCocchi for your pledged $3,000 match to Gary Rome Hyundai. We are also grateful to State Senator Jake Oliveira and Chicopee Mayor John Vieau for joining us at the event.

A special shout‑out to Leah Rantz of Lazer 99.3 & 98.5, who once again kept the energy high as our event DJ.
