Bella's New Beginning

19-Sep-2014

This face can certainly melt your heart. Bella, a 1 year old Blue Chinese Shar-Pei has quite a story to tell.

Bella was hit by a car and brought to Boston Road Animal Hospital. When she arrived at TJO, she had two very severe jaw fractures. This poor baby needed 22 gauge wire to wire her jaw shut. This was very difficult for her to deal with as you can imagine.

Bella arrived at TJO on May 21st. She spent 4 long months at the shelter, and during her recovery, she still remained the happiest girl around. Bella's jaw was wired for 2 months, and she had to eat gruel while she was healing from her injury. Somehow, she still managed to stick her tongue out to give kisses to everyone!

This resilient girl healed so nicely, and has been adopted into a wonderful home. Her new name is Wrinkles, which she loves, along with an abundance of toys!

Sweet Bella is now being showered with love, while bringing joy to her new family.
